What is blood made up of?

Remember the times when you got some minor cuts on fingers or hand-scraped your knees. You must have seen blood oozing out from these cute. It happens when you injure the blood vessels under your skin and blood flaws out. So, what is this red liquid made up of? Blood is made up of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets floating in a yellow liquid called plasma. Are you wondering where do all these cells and plasma come from?

Plasma is made by the body from what we eat and drink. it is made up of protein, glucose, nutrients, chemicals, and hormones. More than half of the blood is plasma. It carries nutrition for the body.
Red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets are made by our bones.

A human body contains about 5–6 liters of blood!
